Gastro & Respiratory
Antacids, proton pump inhibitors, enzyme preparations, antitussives and cold combinations in tablet and syrup form.
Glacier Pharmaceuticals has manufactured allopathic formulations at MIDC Amravati since 1999. We make products for pharma marketing companies across India — under their brand, to their specification, out of a WHO-GMP certified plant.
Glacier was set up at G-5, MIDC Amravati to do one thing properly — make finished allopathic formulations for companies that sell them under their own brand.
We are deliberately mid-sized. That means a marketing company launching a twelve-product range gets the same attention here as a national account would, and gets its batches when it was told it would get them. Every batch leaves with its own analytical record.
We have not moved plant, changed hands, or chased a category we could not make properly. The same unit at G-5 has been making medicines since 1999.
Incorporated in Maharashtra and the unit set up at G-5, MIDC Amravati.
Tablet and liquid oral lines commissioned. First third-party contracts signed in Vidarbha.
Ointment block added and the penicillin suite segregated to meet Schedule M.
GST registration completed under 27AABCG3969L1Z4.
Supplying marketing companies across India from a WHO-GMP certified facility.
They are not the biggest plant we use. They are the one that calls us before a date slips instead of after.
PLACEHOLDER — client testimonialReplace with a real quote and attributionNumbers matter more than adjectives when you are deciding where to place a batch. These are ours.
Gowning, granulation, compression, packing. The parts of the process a marketing company is entitled to see before it commits a brand to us.
Our catalogue is deep where the volume is. If a molecule you need isn't on it, we develop it.
Antacids, proton pump inhibitors, enzyme preparations, antitussives and cold combinations in tablet and syrup form.
Creams, ointments, lotions and topical antifungals, filled and sealed in our own tube line.
Antihypertensives, statins and oral antidiabetics — the long-course therapies that build a repeat prescription base.
Penicillins and their salts, plus broad-spectrum ranges, produced in a dedicated segregated block.
Multivitamin and multimineral tablets, capsules and tonics, including protein and haematinic preparations.
Syrups, suspensions and paediatric drops, bottled and sealed on an automated liquid line.
What you need from a manufacturer depends on which one you are. We quote differently for each.
You hold a marketing licence and a field team, and you need someone to make the brands your MRs are already promoting. Most of our volume comes from here.
Third-party manufacturingYou run a territory and want a compact range you can start small on, with packs that suit a chemist counter rather than a tender.
Low MOQsYou buy finished goods against a rate contract and care most about supply reliability and the paperwork that comes with each consignment.
Repeat supplyMost of what we make carries somebody else's name on the carton. Send us a product list and we will come back with per-unit rates, MOQs and a realistic delivery date — not a brochure.
Molecules, strengths, pack sizes and expected annual volume.
Costing within three working days, with samples on request.
You send artwork and your marketing licence; we handle the rest.
Manufactured, tested, released with COA, and shipped to your depot.
Reaches the plant directly. We reply within one working day.
Anyone can say their plant is clean. What a marketing company needs is documentation that survives an FDA inspection of their own.
Our Amravati unit is listed among Maharashtra's WHO-GMP certified manufacturing sites. Current certificates are shared with every serious enquiry.
Raw material, in-process and finished goods are checked in our own laboratory. Retained samples are held for the full shelf life of the batch.
Every batch carries a certificate of analysis and a full manufacturing record, so you can answer a regulator's question without calling us first.
Contract manufacturing is a relationship business. Most of our volume comes from companies that started with a trial batch.
We quote a dispatch date based on the queue in front of your batch, not on what you want to hear. When a date is going to slip, you hear it from us before it does.
You deal with the same person from costing through dispatch. No handover between a sales office and a plant that has never spoken to each other.
Our batch sizes suit a marketing company building a territory, not only one already running nationally. Start with what you can sell.
COAs, batch records and stability data arrive with the goods. When your state FDA asks, you already have the file.
If your question is not here, put it in the enquiry form and you will get a straight answer.
It depends on the dosage form. Tablets and capsules start at a lower batch size than liquids, because a liquid batch is limited by vessel volume. Send your product list and we will quote the MOQ against each item rather than give you one number that fits nothing.
Four to six weeks for a repeat product once artwork and licence are in place. A first-time product takes longer because packing material has to be printed and approved before we can schedule the batch.
Your drug marketing licence, GST registration, a purchase order, and approved artwork for cartons, foils and labels. We handle the manufacturing-side paperwork.
Yes, within the dosage forms we already make. We will tell you honestly if a molecule needs equipment we do not have rather than take the order and subcontract it without telling you.
A certificate of analysis for the batch, the invoice and e-way bill, and the batch manufacturing record on request. Retained samples stay with us for the full shelf life.
We would prefer it. Most of our long-running accounts started with someone walking the floor at Amravati. Call ahead so the right people are there.
No minimum enquiry size, no obligation, and a reply within one working day.
